This system is developed within the Myfab network and is shared by the Ångström Microstrucure Laboratory at Uppsala University, the Electrum Laboratory at KTH and the Nanofabrication Laboratory at Chalmers.
To browse the equipment list, please go to Tools => All tools in the menu bar above.
To find a list of instruments within the Ångström Laboratory, but outside the Ångström Microstructure Laboratory (essentially outside the cleanroom) please visit http://lims.eqp.angstrom.uu.se/default.aspx.
Access for New Users
Every new user applying for laboratory access will get an interim access as soon as the following three conditions have been fulfilled:
- Approval from responsible supervisor reported to MSL (firstname.lastname@example.org).
- On-line application form ("user access") completed and submitted.
- On-site introduction done and reported (see below).
The on-site introduction can only be done if the first two steps are completed. The tour starts from the cleanroom entrance each Monday at 13:30 (not holidays and during vacation period). Prior notice of attendance should be sent to MSL no later than Friday the week before the targeted tour. At this time MSL should also have received the supervisor approval and the on-line application (1 and 2 above). Applicants who have not signed up for the tour and fulfilled the preparatory measures in time will not be allowed to participate in the on-site introduction.
The lab access is no more than a permission to enter the cleanroom. In order to get access to a specific tool, one or several training sessions should be scheduled with the tool responsible engineer (see equipment list). When the operators licence has been granted the user is free to book and use the equipment.
To obtain a permanent access, a compulsory user introduction seminar must be attended within one month (or maximum two) from the first lab entry. This seminar is normally given the second Tuesday each month, starting at 10:30.
Previous users, returning after a period of absence / inactivity, should not fill in the application form as they are already registered in the LIMS system and only have to be reactivated. However, if the inactivity period exceeds 12 months, the on-site and other introductions (seminars / operator training) should be repeated.
