The Kulicke&Soffa 4526 is an Analog Manual Wedge Bonder. It is optimized for 25um Au or Al wire. It allows to bond contacts at different heights while controlling the wire length and loop formation.

• Independent Manual Z-axis control, separate from X and Y axis control.
   
• Separate Force, Bond Time and Bond Power control for each bond, adjustable and independent per channel.
   
• No springs are used to apply bond force; digitally controlled components are utilized.
   
• Standard bonding, Deep Access and Ribbon bonding with same Bond Head “tool assembly”.
   
• Motorized Wire Clamp Motion with Linear Stepper Motor.
   
• Auto-Stepback Mode is included, with a motorized Y stage.
   
• Stitch Mode available.
   
• Visual feedback via microscope. 
   
• Ultrasonic System: high Q 60 kHz transducer.

Restrictions

• It can only bond along one direction, for bonding along mutiple directions, the sample has to be rotated by hand.
